The NBA regular season continued. The Knicks defeated the Hawks 137-127 in overtime at home and achieved eight straight victories, surpassing the Hawks and moved up to fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Bogdanovic hit a key three-pointer to drag the game into overtime, but the Knicks blossomed more in overtime, and the Knicks eventually defeated their opponents at home. Randall made 6 of 8 three-pointers and scored 40 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Rose had 20 points, Quekley had 20 points, and Brock had 18 points. For the Hawks, Trey Young left the field with an injury in the third quarter. He scored 20 points, 14 assists and 4 steals, Capela 25 points and 22 rebounds, and Bogdanovic 20 points.

With 1 minute and 35 seconds left in the overtime, Bogdanovic made a three-pointer, which reduced the Hawks to 5 points, but then Batley succeeded in throwing the shot, and Quikley made another three-pointer. The game lost suspense. In the end, the Hawks Powerless, can only swallow the defeated ending.
